Convenient location close to shops, funicular, and train station. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and stunning views. Tasty and varied breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful spa and swimming pool.

We especially enjoyed the welcome drink and snack. The staff was most welcoming friom the moment we entered their doors until we left.The facility was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was phenomenal.. Our room was the quad room and was so comfortable for our group of 4., The amenities were wonderful including the spa facilities. It was the ultimate traditional warm Swiss exoperience with a view of the Matterhorn right from our balcony. We definitely would recommend this hotel to our friends.

We enjoyed everything except the walking access was a tiny bit confusuing. But would not lisdt that as a negative

Stunningly beautiful hotel in a good area just off the ski area above Trockener Steg, and town centre and train station. Newly decorated and unique room with a view of the matterhorn.

Lovely front office, spacious room with Matterhornblick, superb wellness area, good breakfast buffet, friendly staff, great location for skiing and restaurants.

During my recent stay at Hotel National, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. The hotel provided convenient shuttle service to and from the train station, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The location of the hotel was perfect, with numerous restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Plus, being right in front of Sunnegga Station meant easy access to the stunning Matterhorn. Our family room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony offered breathtaking views of the mountain. And I must mention the exceptional breakfast spread served every morning, easily the best I've had in Switzerland.

The willingness of the staff and Management to ensure we were comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, very comfortable bed.

Loved the fitness room, helped me burn off all those calories from the delicious food. The Lomi Lomi Nui Massage was heavenly, made me feel like I was in Hawaii. And let's not forget the Cosy Bar with its own fireplace, perfect for a cozy evening.

The goats running through the village were a bit too distracting, couldn't focus on my shopping.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were extremely comfortable. We had an amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide variety of hot and cold foods to choose from.

The family room was a joy for the kids, they didn't want to leave. The interior redesign was genius, transforming the old style to the new. The staff was nice and friendly.

Seeking assistance was no trouble at all, very accommodating.

was treated as A valued guest. each request promptly answered. the location is close to the railroad station - important because most arrive by train. the breakfast buffet was exceptionally good. felt very comfortable as A solo woman traveler.

One of the waitresses was rather surly and did not seem too keen on the English.
